Mentoring and Advocacy Services

Mentoring is a consistent, trusted relationship. Advocacy is making sure clients get fair access to the services and resources that can help them. Together, they help youth and adults build confidence, follow through on goals, and move forward with real support beside them.

Who this supports

Support built around real, everyday life.

Momentum mentoring supports youth building confidence, identity, and healthy relationships — and adults working through change, accountability, or a season of rebuilding. Advocacy work reaches across schools, systems, and community agencies to help clients be heard and served fairly.

  • Consistent one-to-one mentoring relationships
  • Accountability and encouragement
  • Guidance around goals and decisions
  • Confidence and self-worth building
  • Advocacy in schools, agencies, and community settings
  • Support navigating unfamiliar systems

How it works

A steady, human process.

Every client's path is different. These steps show the general shape of working with our team.

  1. Get matched with a mentor

We take time to understand who you are and what you're working toward before making a match.
  2. Meet consistently

Sessions happen on a regular rhythm — the kind you can count on.
  3. Work on real goals

Mentoring covers real life: school, work, relationships, next steps.
  4. Add advocacy when it's needed

When systems get in the way, Momentum steps in to help clients be heard and served fairly.
